1-Day: Travel Photography on the Esplanade
Portland, OR • 1 PM to 7 PM • Saturday, May 11th, 2013 Lets explore the photographic possibilities of Portland’s waterfront. We will start near the east landing of the Hawthorne Bridge and travel wherever the weather and light leads us. This one-day workshop will focus on improving the quality of story telling in your travel photography. We will discuss how a variety of subjects in wide angle, normal and tight compositions can interplay to tell the story of a place. Come with camera in hand, prepared to learn by doing as we photograph, people, landscapes, and details. Digital SLRs and tripods are not required, but are highly recommended. Don’t be surprised if I convince you that you need these tools to take your craft to the next level. However, even if your preferred tool is a smart-phone, bring it ready to use.
